Greenwich Theatre’s popular festive panto takes the shape of Aladdin this year, complete with a genie, a villain and plenty of comedy and romance. Aladdin has just caught a forbidden glimpse of Princess So-Shy - is he in trouble with the Emperor? £18-£25, concs £16-£23, kids half price. Call for performance times and family tickets (£56).

Blackheath Choir’s Christmas Concert aims to raise funds for Deptford Reach and Calcutta Cathedral Relief Service. Patricia Williams conducts with Joan Taylor on piano and Duncan Atkinson on the organ. 7.30pm. Tickets £8, including refreshments, available from St Margaret’s, on 020 8318 9643 or at the door.

The Greenwich Academy Youth Band Brass Group and Community Choir will perform a selection of traditional and modern Christmas songs at the annual Carols by Candlelight evening within the grounds of The Well Hall Pleasaunce. There will also be stalls selling locally produced gifts and the Tudor Barn Eltham will provide a hog roast and mulled wine. Free. From 7pm.

Greenwich Clipper is hosting a Christmas charity night to raise money for Richard House Children's Hospice in Newham. Indulge in beauty treats for a good cause, with Dermalogica face mapping and mini facial for just £5, a raffle of products donated by Decléor and Elemis and a plethora of beauty goodies on sale at 15% off the usual price. 6pm-8.30pm.

At The Wonder Women Network’s Festive Therapy event, as well as picking up some Christmas gifts, you can indulge in massage, reiki, lingerie fitting and makeovers, as well as the chance to design your own luxury wreath. 12-4pm. Cockpit Arts Christmas Open Studio features lovingly made fashion accessories, jewellery, homewares and more. The studios are going all out this year in celebration of their 25th anniversary with Heal’s Christmas Picks, workshops for kids, the chance to win bespoke tree decorations and winter pies by Hand Made Food. A break from it all...

Greenwich Circus Festival, hosted by AirCraft Circus, is a three-day fundraising event for the Hangar Arts Trust. Elaborate aerial shows will thrill all, with family daytime performances featuring the Clowning Trampolin Show, and evening performances featuring a New Orleans themed bar and cabaret for grown ups. Adults £10-£15, kids £6, family pass £25.

Glenn Tilbrook’s plays the final night of his Acoustic Tour back on home turf at Blackheath Concert Halls. This completely new show features a solo Tilbrook throughout the first half, followed by a feast of percussion, acoustic guitars, Ukeleles, Indian harmonium, bass and iPads with two other musicians in the second half. £17.50 in advance, £19.50 on the door.
