By Victoria Purcell on August 2nd 2010

International property consultants, King Sturge recently hosted a Charity Quiz night at The Clarendon Hotel as part of their 250th anniversary celebrations. The firm of international property consultants has set up the 1760 Charity Appeal whose goal is to raise £250,000 for good causes across its UK and European offices.
The main beneficiaries are The Children’s Trust and Orchid, with remaining funds being distributed to local nominated charities. The Blackheath and Greenwich offices nominated Demelza Hospice Care for Children in Eltham as their chosen charity.
Fifteen teams battled for the coveted first prize, which was won by the Macey Masterminds.
Ken Deamer, partner, said: “We raised a total of £2,108.50 and had a lot of fun. King Sturge is looking forwards to the future and we hope 2010 provides us with a real opportunity to help others in society who are less fortunate than ourselves. I would like to thank my team for all their hard work, especially Caroline Wood who took on the administration of the evening and did a wonderful job.”
