Heaven 17: Up close and personal
By Mark Kebble on December 25th 2011
A saturated market and downward revenues across the music industry call for a new wave of creativity to revive the sinking profits of a highly lucrative sector. The Renowned Metropolis Group Managing Director Ian Brenchley and industry veteran John Pearson have teamed up to create a new brand of incredibly exclusive concerts giving the attendees an intimate experience with some of the most desired acts in the world.
Pearson commented: “We tried out some VIP concerts last year in a studio setting, whereby a little over a hundred fans could re-live days and when they first saw bands in tiny clubs and get up close and personal, meeting the band after and also being treated like a VIP. The DVD’s of those concerts contained the names of all guests also, and it was a huge success.”
Developing their concept of intimate concerts, the duo have begun to dress their highly reputable Metropolis Studios in Chiswick with an incredible light show and filming from 7 different camera set-ups. The guests receive complimentary hospitality and are able to have a meet and greet with the artist/band post-show, following this they receive a DVD of the performance immortalizing their experience for in physical form forever.
The next act to take part in the show is the chart topping synthopop trio, Heaven 17, who were made famous with their platinum selling album ‘The Luxury Gap’ that featured their hit song ‘Temptation’. The event takes place on the 14th January 2012 where only 115 people will be part of this once in a lifetime exclusive concert with tickets priced at £195 that are available at www.musicglue.net/metropolisstudios
